My favorite 'yan' for calligraphy

My favorite 'yan' for calligraphy, carved with a dragon, bought last year 2012 from Bras Basah in Singapore for SGD100. It was from PRC in 1980s or early 1990s I think. There's a little 'bridge' under which ink can flow into a tiny pool. Very difficult to carve. I'd give this to one of my daughters when she grows up if she likes to practice calligraphy too. Hahaha

What does practicing Chinese calligraphy have to do with guqin? Well, it's just another form of training and enjoyment, I guess, calligraphy being part of the 4 arts 琴棋书画. haha
