The price she is asking for is: Singapore S$1,750.
The quality of the qin that she brought back to Singapore this year in 2013 should be quite good. Last year in 2012, my friend Kenny bought one from her. I (the silly bespectacled dude in the checkered shirt) test played it in the spacious departure hall of Terminal 3 of Changi airport. The 'waving gallery' was full of kids rolling around on the carpeted floor, so please don't go there to test play. If anyone asks if you are busking, just tell them you are playing a song for your friend before departure. *sob* hahaha
Last year in 2012, Kathryn Lim also sold a Zeng Chengwei guqin (which she personally owned) so she's an experienced guqin seller. It was shipped from Singapore back to a collector in China.
As always, dear potential buyer, please control your excitement upon seeing the buyer and the guqin. Please kindly check the qin in front of the seller, test play it on your lap, and take pictures (of the qin and each other for good memories!) before paying your hard earned cash and saying bye bye.
Suggestion: Please always buy a hard foam case from the seller. Yes, you *will* need the hard foam case. Trust me. *smile*
You don't have to pay her online over Etsy first. You may contact her directly by sending her a message at her Etsy webpage and request to see and test play the qin.
Wanna know what she looks like? Kathryn Lim is also the author of a book which you can find in Singapore's National Library.Yes, she is very talented indeed. (and yes, she is also already engaged to be married to a very handsome guy in Tibet, or most probably married already by now. So there! Guys, no need to thank me. I know I just saved you a world of pain finding this out for your Otaku-selves. hahaha)
