Using music stand makes learning guqin more pleasurable

Saturday night in humid warm Singapore. After struggling to teach my fidgeting 5 year old daughter how to play a simple tune 沧海一声笑 (cang hai yi sheng Xiao) on the guqin, and also guiding my 8 year old daughter how to play simple guqin tune 仙翁操 (Xian weng cao), I tried to memorize a tune I am self-learning 秋塞吟. I find that using a music stand to position the music score to my comfortable eye level helps my daughter and I to better concentrate on playing, compared to having our heads bent downwards if the score was placed on the table in front of guqin. Using music stand makes learning guqin more pleasurable for me. ^_^
